I am from Brazil and at age 18 I packed my bags and moved to the United States to pursue my education. I love people, different cultures, religions, and in general learning new things in a daily basis. I try to live life without looking for its meaning; instead, I do my best just to enjoy it. I have found that the best way for me to enjoy life is if other people are enjoying it too, and for that matter I love helping. I hope this website contributes to you having a more enjoyable life.  I wrote a poem in French about my homeland. Therefore, it is a combination of many things I love; my country; a different culture; and writing. I hope you enjoy it.

Un pays tropical

Un pays différent, le pays de la joie

Avec une incroyable beauté naturelle

Là-bas il y a de très belles plages qui ressemblent aux tableaux d’art

Les enfants jouent, les adultes boivent, leur vie est presqu’une fête

Oui, ce pays est exceptionnel

Et les personnes?

Très accueillantes, très aimables

Oui ce pays a des problèmes aussi, des problèmes très compliqués

Mais là les problèmes sont dans les têtes des personnes

Parce que sur le visage ils ont un sourire

Et dans leurs cœurs beaucoup de paix.
