 There are uncountable ways you can make a difference in this world. It is important to keep in mind that you don't need money or power to make an impact, it’s the little things each of us do that add up to all the goodness happening around us. Some ways you can make a difference in your life and the life of others:

Volunteer at the Red Cross, they always need help,and there are many ways you can help, check out what they need at your local red cross

Volunteer/ donate to the Burmese Advocacy Center. Fort Wayne has the largest Burmese community outside Burma, they come to the US as refuges from their country, when they get here they usually don't have anything, they usually don’t even speak English, they are happy to be survivors and need all the help they can get. 

Raise Hope for Congo is a Campaign from the Enough Project to protect the women and girls of Congo. Why Congo? Because in Congo "The conflict... is fueled by a multi-million dollar trade in minerals - tin, tungsten, tantalum (3T's), and gold - which power our cell phones, laptops, and other electronics" sais Raise Hope for Congo website. This crisis results in sexual violence against women and girls. In order for this violence to stop companies such as Apple, Microsoft, LG, have to STOP buying these conflict minerals.
